So you think untested psychoactive S should be sold silly hilly to kids? What a surprise. No doubt my views are 'wrong' because of some obscure legal arguments regarding the subject and the fact, that you purvey, that drugs are good, mmkay.

No doubt my views are 'wrong' because of some obscure legal arguments regarding the subject and the fact, that you purvey, that drugs are good, mmkay. No I don't, and we've found ourselves, as a nation, in this absurd situation, because we've pursued an unpragmatic, failed solution to 'drugs' for 30-40 years now - From which the only people who have benefited are those involved in the illegal trade of controlled substances. In 2014 the UK Police and Customs seized 3.1 tonnes of Cocaine in the UK or at its borders. 64% of that came from people with less than 1 gram of cocaine, 33% was from people with between 1 and 500 grams, and only 2% in excess of 500 grams. The street value, of 3.1 tonnes, when distributed as single gram deals is 1.7bn. And that's just the figure based on the success of the law enforcement. Even if they were 50% successful, which they aren't, that would be 1.7bn in income, from cocaine alone, distributed through criminal networks and organised crime. I suspect that 10% success rate would be optimistic. But prohibition has really only benefitted organised crime and gangs.

Drugs aren't good, but they are a real problem, that the UK has failed to do anything real to benefit people who don't want to use them or the people who do want to use them, or those who have problems with them. Meanwhile, gangs, criminal networks and organised crime has been earning billions annually from the illegal trade. That's before you even get to the misery and suffering created by prohibition across the world (like Colombia, Brazil, Mexico). Drugs aren't good. Prohibition however is very good for crime.
