I think the two things I'm most proud of are 1) Recovering from a nervous breakdown and establishing myself in a career in the process of recovering, whilst also kicking a drug habit (all in the same few years). 2) Having sex with a fit Japanese woman. 3) Being my mums son. The second one makes no real sense. The first one, makes sense and the third one is really about dealing with her death.

I'm British, because that's the passport I hold. I worked in Glasgow for a few years, and my experience, is that Scots, like the Welsh and the English, are basically comprised of people who don't care about nationality, except for sports, people who really don't care, and some people who take it all a bit to seriously. I think its important to separate as Welsh, Northern Irish, Scottish and English, because its kind of fun to take p1ss. Lets face it, without national rivalry Rugby would be even more boring. In my opinion, around 40% of people are c**ts, the other 60% don't realise they're c**ts. Where do you get your numbers from Jamie? I know how percentages work you piss taker EDIT: this is from wikipedia: This is from a 2011 census which has two issues. It's very old and the census isn't filled in by everybody Edited by Palace_love_affair (16 May 2016 5.15pm)

Who gets to decide what are 'british things'? Why can't 'british' also be 'progressive'? Where will the madness end???

Well that was a very different Britain to the one we have today. All you can ever be sure of in life is that things will eventually change in ways that are alien and unwanted. You either adjust to reality or get 'stuck' and angry.

Well that was a very different Britain to the one we have today. Did you come across Gurkhas, Fijians, Australians, Kiwis, Irish, Indians and squaddies from god know how many other commonwealth countries? How would you feel if that Spitfire had been flown by a Pole or a Sikh? The England (Britain) of Reach for The Sky or In Which We Serve never really existed.

I have been suffering from a form PTSD for several years and I'm quite pleased with myself for not going completely nuts, so I know where you are coming from. I have never had sushi however.
