It's certainly not angry, boll0ck5 or reactionary. My opinion is born out of years leftist rule that has eroded our identity as a nation, seen powers signed away, our borders abandoned just for the sake of multi culturalism and the absolute obsession of the left when it comes to said subject IS bordering on mental illness if you ask me. Who cares if there isn't enough asians in the police force, or not enough Afro Carribeans in the fire brigade? Now that IS boll0cks. I'd rather people who can do the job than ludicrous quotas met because some idealist has got a hard on about social engineering. For the love of God and all that's holy, I wonder when this absolute madness is going to end but it shows no sign of abating and we are more than happy to sign all our powers and right to self governance away because of some ideal being chased by people who are, quite frankly, bl00dy deluded.

Bravo sir.

However where you are going wrong is to assume that anyone of the lefty hand wringers can rationalise any viewpoint that doesn't involve the following:

Free houses for all.
A communist European state.
bankers are Nazi baby eaters.(*)
Corbyn is a free thinking breath of fresh air.
The royal family are s***.
Students should run the government.
benefits should be a minimum of 50 grand per lazy workshy diamond whit drinking household.
Diane Abbott is a visionary.
Gordon Brown was a financial God (forgetting of course he sold our gold for 50 pence and a pickled egg, the wonky eyed pillock).
All immigrants are peaceful loving poor little souls who will integrate into our society.
IS is our fault and the USA.
Nigel Farage (see bankers *)

So old chum unless you are prepared to enter into those topics and agree wholeheartedly whilst reading the socialist worker with your free trade coffee, I'm afraid you are "pissing in the wind" with some on here.

The problem with the Remaniacs is they have no sense of national identity. They loath everything that is great about England and they think we're all a bunch of nasty colonialist thugs, that's why they love the idea of us being superseded into a European super state and being told what to do by faceless and un-elected beurocrats. Just to think our grandfathers and forefathers fought for freedom from this kind of thing and the tyranny of forced rule only for these self hating clowns to undo all that they fought for. I feel strongly about this having been a serving soldier and fighting in the theater of war. No doubt some leftist clown will call me a baby killing monster for revealing I was a soldier. That actually happened to a friend of mine who was walking down the street in his uniform with his colleagues. This is the kind of warped mentality of the left and bremain. If I didn't know better I'd say they were in the advanced stages of mental illness...whoops!

I am slightly on the remain side, mainly because I don't think the Brexit case has been particularly well made. Both sides have in fact been woeful.

So, ignoring the England bit you are a million miles away from the truth. I am proud to be Welsh ( even if Cuckers keeps telling me Wales isn't a country ) & I am proud to be British. I will never consider my nationality as European.

My father served in the Royal Navy during World War Part 2 The Hitler Years. He lost a lot of friends, was sunk by Italian Torpedo boats, involved in the relief of Malta as well as the Invasion of Greece. He was pro Europe (albeit a different vision to the one we have now) and the idea that nations be united instead of divided. No one who lived through that war wanted to repeat it.

I am not sure of the relevance of the baby killer story. Do you know how that person is going to vote next month?

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Fair point, anyone who thinks the things on your list there is totally beyond help and beyond reasoning with.

You will not be surprised to learn that each one of those points I have gleaned from countless (indeed whatless) "discussions" with actual adults on here.

I may have embellished on some finer detail but the sentiment remains.

It very much fits my view and indeed experience of hard lefties and their totally ludicrous world view.

You missed (Flogging off X public service) 'to his rich mates'

As opposed to 'terrorist mates' which I'm sure the right wing would also refer to. Except in the case of Corbyn and Khan is accurate (or racist depending on your political persuasion)

Had a debate with guy (a lawyer no less), whose postion was that we should remain so as not to give any more power to the Tories. Again the despicible hypocricy of selective support for democracy

Just remembered the other thing he said, in response to an muslim girl quoting an old boy who had said that 'London had changed'. His view was that it was better that Britain was less British.

These things combined with his objections to the wealthy (he sounded pretty middle-class) which were alluded to epitomise the loony left as they're based on absolutely nothing but an alternate prejudice to those traditionally reserved for the other end of the spectrum. Sadly we're at a stage in social evolution where we've dealt with people being cnuts, only to find ourselves with another type of cnutishness deeply ingrained in those riding on the back of the equality we've achieved.
