Here's a link to the Bank Of England's poll:http://www.bankofengland.co.uk/banknotes/Pages/characters/nominationform.aspx

I voted for William Blake.

Just voted for Dana Plato (Kimberly from Different Strokes). In the reason why box I put because I love frivolous voting.

Hope she wins.

Kids TV to p***. drugs and death, it's the American way.

I would imagine her p***o film is totally unwatchable, but I'd probably pay a stupid amount for a copy.

My favourite Dana story is when she'd hit rock bottom and decided to rob a local video store (with a cap gun!!). The owner called the police and said 'I've just been robbed by Kimberly from Different Strokes'

Why pay, when the internet has it all for nothing?

Poor girl, even her son blew his brains out.

Optimistic as ever

I need education! Followed by, I would imagine, a new hard drive.

I've got a bit obssesed with 80's child stars who went down the sh1tter. Corey Haim is another interesting one (conspiracies a-plenty).

They changed the title of it after to something with "Different Strokes" in the title, just to draw that extra bit of promotion.

Is that the dead Corey or just the seriously f***ed up one?

That's the dead one I think the seriously f***ed up one is past the danger point but I wouldn't be surprised.

There's an interview floating around on YT with Feldman stating both the Coreys are in a mess (or dead) coz of spending their teenage years being constantly b*ggered by TV execs.

Nasty. Would explain the mess that Culkin also became.

It`s a shame the person on the note can`t be one alive as considering the amount of WW2 anniversaries occurring this year Dame Vera Lynn would be a shoe in.

He may well have done.
I'm just glad that WW2 ended sooner due to his phenomenal brain. It's a shame that he felt he had to take his own life to finally be happy.

Nominated Chris Donald. Viz has given me £3.20 worth of giggles every month for the last 3 or 4 months now. Thought it warranted him being printed on a bank note.
