34 fours, 14 sixes. Wouldn't want him back in the squad now, we should be looking towards the likes of Ballance, Taylor and Roy

Last partnership 110. 5 of which were not scored by KP. Looking to the future is fine but not at the expense of one of the finest batsmen of the modern era, who can still perform better than them.

Unbelievably he's been told he will never play for Ebgkabd again. Personally I think it's a f***ing outrage that these petty minded fukwits can deprive the paying public of watching such a talent. C Units.

Strauss is a fool. At least he'll be away from the commentary and, hopefully, soon out of another job.

It's all well and good making big runs against a poor second division team that hasn't actually won a match for decades but that isn't necessarily a hallmark of international quality. If KP was serious about making loads of runs to force his way back into the national side he should have picked a division one team to play for as there were a few that showed interest

If they had said join a division one side, that would be different. He chose Surrey as he's played for them and lives in the area. As far as I'm aware the only other county who said yes was Glamorgan. Did you watch the Big Bash where he was top scorer?

Agreed. I know he hasn't exactly helped himself in the past but it comes off as shortsighted and petty to me.

Strauss getting it from all angles. Boycott, Vaughan, Graeme Smith. Even Lineker has said it's t***ish.

Unbelievable that the old school tie club of English cricket has denied Peterson the chance to play for England again. We all know Peterson is a egotist and ruffles feathers, but sport is about winning not politics.

I hope whoever has the unenviable task of being in charge for the Ashes only does so if they can pick the best players. No permanent coach is going to take it until afterwards after all.
