True leadership, balls and ethics. "Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish says all employees will receive full pay during the coronavirus outbreak. Premier League football has been postponed until the weekend of 4 April. Parish said in a club statement that staff would not be placed on statutory sick pay "for health issues relating to Covid-19". He also promised that matchday staff who have lost work because of the suspension of the league will not be "disadvantaged financially". The Premier League is scheduled to meet on Thursday to discuss the next steps in response to the virus outbreak, which has claimed the lives of 71 people in the UK." (BBC website, 18 march 2020)

Edited by Stirlingsays (18 Mar 2020 6.57pm) Drugs normally take around 10 years to get from testing, development to final production to the public. A lot of people still remember the Thalidomide scandal, and some victims are still paying the price.

This drug is well old so might be the answer.

If the weather doesn't make a difference it makes things pretty bad......I guess we might as well lock the oldies away and just get on with it. Edited by Stirlingsays (18 Mar 2020 6.28pm) As you’ve already said, I can see this happening at some point anyway. The consequences of the level of government borrowing is probably going to force it, low interest rates or not.
