In other IOUSA news........

Every year around this time the US federal government releases an annual financial report to the public.
[Link]

To cut a very long story short, according to this year’s report, the government’s net loss “more than doubled, increasing 3.2 billion (103.7%) during [Fiscal Year] 2016 to .0 trillion.”
After adding up all of its assets (like tanks, aircraft carriers, government buildings, etc etc.) and subtracting liabilities (the national debt), the government’s “net worth” was MINUS .3 trillion at the close of the 2016 fiscal year.
That’s worse than 2015’s NEGATIVE .2 trillion, which was worse than 2014’s NEGATIVE .7 trillion, which was worse than 2013’s NEGATIVE .9 trillion.

The IOUSA is fooked, plain and simple.

Yowch. And the US owns a lot of very expensive aircraft carriers etc and continues to spend a fortune on "defence".

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

And what reality is that?

Reality like 2x2 make 4 or reality like, I consider myself intellectually and morally superior to you so I decide what reality is?

With an annual budget of around $600 billion, the IOUSA currently spend around $1,137,747 per minute(!) on tanks, planes, cyber security, fuel and new tech innovations for their troops and Trump’s spending initiative could nearly double that.
The United States could soon be effectively spending nearly $2,000,000 per minute on new defense technology and equipment for their military.

Someone's in for a good-hiding but will it be abroad, or due to the massive 'militarisation' of the Police Depts in recent years, at home?

That to which a rational hypothesis can be assigned, typically by disproving the null hypothesis.

That to which evidence supports a valid or reliable conclusion.

Even if the facts have an unfortunate 'liberal bias'.

The rejection of 'alt-facts and alt-truth'.

And by spending, a lot of that is actually a subsidy to American Defence contractors and companies, many of which are also large scale independent corporate interests.

I think we, as in the people of the west, are reasonably safe, in so much that the greatest threat to us, as individuals from another individual, is from people of the same nationality (and local).

I'd argue that the US has a much more significant problem with the threat Americans pose to other Americans, and themselves, than with anyone else. And that pretty much applies to every country.

The world is safe, in so much as its pretty hard to destroy the entire world.
