It is bog-standard stuff you can hear anywhere, nothing different to recommend it. Mindless drivel tbh, think I will get a classical fix instead. That would be an extra £1 salary for every listener lost, so if she loses them another million listeners she will then be on more than Lineker !!
that's one thing I'm with you on.

Just grasped what you mean. It is staggering. How can they reward failure in that way? If ever there was a single example of why the BBC has to go, this is it. There is no justification for it what so ever. Beyond belief that they can even contemplate this kind of salary hike at the moment. What on earth are they thinking? Do they want to piss the public off?

Lineker has agreed to a 23% pay cut (400k) so next year she will probably be on more anyway.

Do they want to piss the public off? I used to listen to R2 all the time but I don’t bother switching on until the Ken Bruce show now. She is utterly useless and thinks she is funny which makes it worse. How that salary is even close to being justified is beyond me. As for pissing the public off that is one thing the BBC positively shines at!

No surprise, but I imagine the BBC won’t be happy until it’s a 50/50 split. Can’t wait until we are a minority so we can start handing some s*** out instead of taking it all the time.
