I have the CIA nailed on for Kennedy. OSwald was probabaly not clinically insane but just damaged and easily lead enough to be used.

Ruby had connections to the mob and let's face it , we can only speculate about why he shot Oswald. On face value, it seems like a very odd occurrence and even Ruby said that people would never believe the truth.
I think Oswald was on board until he realised he was being set up as the Patsy and then they had to kill him. We don't know if the plan went well or if they had to change it at some point. Most plays don't go to plan.
There are so many other questions.
How did a less than average marksman make those shots with a bold action rifle?
How did the Police know he was in the cinema after the shooting?
Why did they dispose of Kennedy's brain material?
How was he shot from the front with a seemingly larger calibrate bullet when Oswald was behind him?
Why did they relax security that day?
Who really were the three tramps at the scene, one of whom has been possibly identified as an agent?
If Oswald was acting alone why didn't he just say so instead of saying he was a patsy? After all, you don't expect to shoot the President in those circumstances and get away with it.
Let's not get on to Bobby Kennedy.

I'm not entirely convinced that they have been. The technique of brainwashing is typically not very effective and in many cases not clearly documented - also it may well be a case that its served more as a defence than a statement of truth.

Often what gets called brainwashing, is simply social conditioning and incentives, which are a far more effective way of obtaining influence over someone than breaking them down and trying to reconstruct them through trauma.

Problem is, that whilst it can work the duration tends to be brief once they're introduced back into society, and often even with suggestion and hypnosis, its not really possible to get someone to do something they don't want to do.

Then building them back up to be reliable, is even harder. The Chinese used something akin to this in the Korean war, and it wasn't particularly very effective. I think you can really break people psychologically, but then getting them to do things, and not remember, is more the realm of classic fiction, than practical reality. It might be possible, but it would I think be unpractical.

It is in theory possible with hypnosis and suggestion to get someone to shoot someone, against their will, but it involves very controlled conditions and instructions. You can't tell them to take a gun out of the house, and go and shoot someone. You have to effectively remove the notion that they're shooting someone specific from the instructions. Plus they're likely to remember being hypnotised.

More likely, someone like Muir, with a history of mental illness and an interest in the far right, is likely to build his psychosis around social cues, and construct a fantasy / delusion built on far right views - and they're responding to disturbed social triggers and cues.

I think you have been brainwashed into believing this.
