Simple fact. Have money, get anything in a week if you pay for it.

Once again, the house of Saud have far more fighter and bomber aircraft largely from the US. I have posted the link for anyone to look at.

Even if people choose to believe your multiple claims on here (how are those 16 hour shifts going?) the idea that without Typhoons they can't continue their war is rubbish.

Once again this also completely ignores the damaging social-economic complications that would result from such a move....we aren't a trading block.

Then again, the left hardly give a damn about managing economies....as your mate Biden is clearly showing.

You are so full of it

Saudi has nearly twice as many Typhoons and Tornados (153) than F15s (83). It would love to have F35s but doesn't.

Its military capability is strongly dependent upon the UK. I worked with an organisation that benefited from Al Yamamah but I had left that kind of work by the time of Al Salam.

At least when you quote information on fleets you could put a number against each asset class, there's a good chap.

Well apparently Badger....what you have to understand is that the House of Saud can't wage war unless the big beefy UK allows them to.

There are no ways around it...You see it's just an impossibility...Without those UK Typhoons they are done for.

Strange how they designed their military capacity to be contingent upon one nation's political decisions but there you go....Maple has spoken on it.

Pipe dream anyway....their money would leave London quicker than a Biden sniff. So it wouldn't only be pointless it would be self harming.

Prattling on about Kings of England and 30 minutes on what it means to be a senator. Meaningless tripe.

All the more stark after a well crafted and erudite opening by the Dems, slaughtering Trump handily for whipping that gaggle of halfwits into a frenzy and depositing them upon the Capitol Building.

Its all meaningless, Trump still holds sway over the cowardly ranks of the GOP.

In a real court, given no proper lawyers will now work with Trump, where jurors are actually not a bunch of partisan weasels, we might see Donald convicted yet.

“President Trump was not happy with the performance of his legal team in action,” one source told Politico. They say that Trump saw it as a missed opportunity, and was also annoyed that his legal team appeared to concede that, contrary to the baseless conspiracy theories that Trump himself had spread, that Joe Biden had won the election."

Probably because if he did, he'd never work again

The blood of innocent yemenis is clearly upon the UK's hands.

Latest to pull out Italy, only the UK ants to continue using every legal trick to do so.

To what end is this, tory ministers pulling out all the stops to keep their ability to deal with genocidal regimes.

Do behave. If we didn't sell arms, someone else would. The Chinese, the Russians, all those who we don't want to gain favour with the Saudis.
There is posturing and then there is reality. In an ideal world, trade in weaponry would be outlawed but as you often fail to realise, this is not an ideal world.

Did you not know that Stirling is right on literally every subject due to his ability to use the internet better than anyone else?

This also trumps any real life experience or knowledge that any one else can bring to any discussion.

It's not worth it, Maple, you will never 'win'. We are all just losers in his internet world.

Which way? Keep up dimmy.

I responded to Steely's idea that the House of Saud couldn't continue the war without British military exports: an obvious falsehood.

You decided to suggest otherwise, though you have nothing but continual appeals to your own ego.
