Even so, he is still our best player and we will be relegation fodder without his threat. If I thought we could attract players of a similar class, I would be happy to move him on but sadly, we cannot. If we didn’t use the money or just get any replacements, yes. It’s because we put too many eggs or wages in 1-3 players that we end up in these problems. Mark Zaha or foul him and wind him up and that’s job half done. Your strategy basically says, like you stated last summer, keep hold of Zaha in the hope we get bought over, which I don’t see happening and while he’s likely to decline in his head and legs. Once or if we get a decent bid in none of it will matter anyway because he’ll throw the biggest strop yet. Blimey he threw one without a bid in at the end of last summer’s window apart from the earlier Everton bid.

As for the disruptive influence, you have just pulled that out of your @rsehole.
As for your second paragraph.....again, there is none so blind as those who will not see and the overwhelming response to your bizarre remark says it all really.

I really cant see anyone coming in for Wilf. Realistically who is left, Everton maybe. Not a great move for Wilf and well below what his expectations would have been. The issue for me is what type of Wilf will we have have next season. What will his motivation be, will he be disillusioned and resentful to the club for scuppering his chances to a big club (I dont agree with this we've given him a massive contract on massive wages and set him and his family up for life. Hes living the dream). Wilf was poor by his standard last season, I would imagine hes going to be even worse this season once the realisation has set in hes not getting his big move to play champions league football and win trophies. Think it could get rocky with Wilf next season. Edited by MonsterMunch (24 Aug 2020 10.53am)

I think she preyed on wilf because he was lonely in Manchester. Only logical explanation I can come up with.

Wilf wants Champions League football because he is an £80m+ superstar. Not sure Everton will provide such an opportunity anytime soon. Also not sure Everton fans will be too enamoured with the hold the ball up, slow the game game down, roll it 10 yards backwards approach we saw last season. Nor the fall over, roll your eyes, cry in a minute response dished out by much smarter players like Ward Prowse and Doucoure. Needs to knuckle down and prove he is an £80m superstar, rather than spend his time on f**cking about on social media and sulking.

The usually reliable and well informed journalist and Palace fan Ed Aarons is reporting that Zaha is determined to leave the club and is relaxed about the transfer saga rumbling on until October.

I read the story and really want Zaha to go now. He's obviously f€cking us around and can f*ck off to any club now for all I care. He's basically doing an Ian Wright but with years left on his contract. If Wilf was as good as his ego is big, we should be preparing for Europa League right now.

It’s all playing into the hands of the buyer to get a good deal their end. Going to get messy and put pressure on us. We’ll then find it difficult to buy sensibly. I think if it comes down to an amount lower than we’ll lose being taken to the cleaners we’ve got to do a deal. The on pitch issues are even more important this year if one of our only out balls isn’t replaced with a different pattern of play early enough.

Roy needs to drop him. Stop playing him. At the moment he is holding the club to ransom. It will concentrate his mind if he is not getting picked!!
