I could not disagree more, the defence has to be the immediate priority if we can't stop teams scoring agains us then we need to score 2/3 or more goals every game just to be in with a chance. Over the last four and a bit seasons we have just managed to win 26 out of 77 home games in PL. We have not yet managed the basics in football and that is preventing the other team from scoring because we have an aged and at the best a championship quality defensive team, that lacksw any real on the pitch leadership who frequently make basic errors and panic when ever a ball comes in from the opposition.

Yeah but Frank won't field those same players in the same way. I'm highly concerned about this 3 at the back without any serious quality. None of other teams are doing so and it has to be mentioned nobody below 8th or Everton are trying to. At a push I'd do 3-5-1-1 but still with our current players we'll get exposed.

This will go to the wire. Sakho wants to come here and Liverpool know that so they will not be able to sell him to the highest bidder because he will refused to leave so i think we hold the cards at the moment. Only thing i dread is if we dont sign him he will end up on loan at another Prem club like Wet Spam
