'Racist' - because he made a joke about the KKK! It will be difficult to find anyone to nominate that would not be considered 'racist' by the narrow 'standards' of the (predominately white) liberal/left.

You need to acquaint yourself with his treatment of older black voters and his virulent homophobia.

Plus he said 'I think the KKK were alright...' then he mentioned something about them smoking marijuana.

You side with these type of people purely because like attracts like.

Setting aside the detail. Trumps's election and Brexit are a back lash by the silent majority who were tired as what they saw as an endless pandering to minority interests at their expense. People are not all fools and they see huge levels of immigration, often illegal in the US, and they know why it is being allowed to happen and what the consequences will be.
The liberal/left silenced the objectors with shocking arrogance and derision and this is the result.

You were warned of the consequences of your puritanical absolute truths and your moral certainties and now we have Trump pandering to the God fearing, gun toting red necks.
Sadly, I doubt you will learn a thing from this equal and opposite reaction.

1) Trump got a minority of votes

2) Not everyone voted for Brexit/Trump on the 'anti-immigration' ticket but lots did granted. What a false dawn and pyrrhic victory that will turn out to be unless we go all North Korea and close ourselves off.

3) Enabling the far right and/or their views to become mainstream is not an equal reaction.

As I suspected. You learned nothing.

I'm not siding with him; to say I am is like saying you are siding with Islamic terrorists when you post your opinions about them. I'm merely pointing out that what you are saying is distorted nonsense (as usual).

One African-American lawyer testified that Sessions had joked that he thought the Ku Klux Klan was "OK until I found out they smoked pot". (note the word 'joked')

Bot of course you interpret this as him dressing in white sheets, burning crosses and lynching people.

Also in a Senate hearing he Mr Sessions urged government to send the message that "good people don’t smoke marijuana", and in another hearing, that marijuana cannot be safer than alcohol because "Lady Gaga says she’s addicted to it and it’s not harmless."

I have learnt that those of an obnoxious, nasty bent will hide in the open, camouflage their darkest thoughts, but manipulate others into believing their voice is the true voice and the right path to follow:

£350million a week toward the NHS, anyone?

Why bring Ken Livingstone into this?

All I will say is that I totally agree with all the criticism labelled against 'Bercow' for his comments.

I'll leave it at this - no more comments from me on this political thread.

They always say Willo never argue about Politics or religion as it goes no where and just gets heated.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

But he got sufficient votes to win the election contest according to the rules as laid out in the USA constitution though Kermy!

Are you contesting his legitimacy to be president under the law?

That could be applied to any politician.

And would you get over it. As if the Remain campaign didn't get figures out of thin air as well.
