How did a less than average marksman make those shots with a bold action rifle? His Marine record shows that he was ranked as a sharpshooter in terms of testing (with practice) and without practice just off or marksman. Which makes him quite a good shooter, and the Marine sniper rifle of practice is a 'Kate' a bolt action rifle. Originally posted by Hrolf The Ganger
How did the Police know he was in the cinema after the shooting? He was arrested for the shooting of J D Tippet, 45 minutes after the shooting of the president, not as a suspect in the shooting of Kennedy. The chain of witnesses place him at the shooting of Tippet to the Texas Theater Originally posted by Hrolf The Ganger
Why did they dispose of Kennedy's brain material? They didn't, it was passed to the National Archive after the autopsy and was reported missing in 1966. It was certainly there in 1965 Originally posted by Hrolf The Ganger
How was he shot from the front with a seemingly larger calibrate bullet when Oswald was behind him? This is a based on the perpetuation of poor evidence and generally stems from two poor images presented at the Warren commission. The x-rays, the Zarapuder film, Zarapuder and eye witnesses describe the shot as being to the back or side of the head, not the front. Originally posted by Hrolf The Ganger
Why did they relax security that day? I don't know, but would it have made a difference. I don't know if they did or didn't relax security. Originally posted by Hrolf The Ganger
Who really were the three tramps at the scene, one of whom has been possibly identified as an agent? Well if they're tramps, I would imagine no one actually knows too much about them, being tramps and all that. But it does seem something of a stretch to imagine that is evidence of anything - Unidentified tramps, one of whom may or may not have been an agent. CIA, FBI, Agriculture and Fisheries, DOD, NASA - there are a lot of agencies in the US. Originally posted by Hrolf The Ganger
If Oswald was acting alone why didn't he just say so instead of saying he was a patsy? Oswald never claimed to have killed the president during interrogations. Unsurprisingly then he wouldn't admit to acting alone. However his alibi for the time of the shooting wasn't supported by witnesses who were in the Domino room (one couldn't be sure the other was certain).

Occam's Razor. Although the most likely is by no means the answer every time. Life is stranger than fiction. First you eliminate the probable, and then more onto the improbable. I think that too often conspiracy theorist look for any reason to jump to the improbable. For JFK it would mean possibly hundreds of people are in on the conspiracy, just on the ground in Dallas. The problem is that Conspiracy Theorists will see something like a statement by one witness, that might be at odds with the story and seize on that as 'facts' rather than accounting for the fact that eye witnesses in any traumatic situation, often tell differing stories.

I have the CIA nailed on for Kennedy. OSwald was probabaly not clinically insane but just damaged and easily lead enough to be used. Ruby had connections to the mob and let's face it , we can only speculate about why he shot Oswald. On face value, it seems like a very odd occurrence and even Ruby said that people would never believe the truth. Truesai. The fact that the CIA killed Kennedy makes a mockery of the americans always banging on about 'democracy'.

If it was an 'inside job' its unlikely to have been the CIA. Its just that most people don't realise just how many government agencies there are in the US. So who at the CIA was behind it all. Was there a meeting where someone said, ok, this is the project, we're going to kill President Kennedy in Dallas, and everyone else at the meeting agreed, signed off on it, assigned the staff etc.

All this conspiracy guff is a nice way to deflect from the fact that the rise of cloaked xenophobia and Fascism most likely lead to the murder of a (traitor) mp. The outpouring of grief from the masses is getting on my tits a bit though.

I like your measured attitude toward this stuff but I'm not especially convinced by some of these explanations.

They should all be put in a small room and made to fight it out.

Especially when speaking out of turn could cost you or your family their lives. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (22 Jun 2016 7.24pm)
