Here is a list of the military aircraft owned by the House of Saud. No one sensible thinks that not selling arms to the Saudis makes would make a blind bit of difference. Edited by Stirlingsays (09 Feb 2021 4.24pm)

Not by me, it is a continuing disgrace. The UK is now the only western power supporting the Saudis and the war in Yemen could not continue without UK military support.
I'm in agreement with others in so much that I'm sure any assistance we withdraw will quickly be replaced, so little would be likely to change. Where I do agree with you though is that 'it's going to happen anyway ( so might as well be us)' doesn't sit well. I'd rather my country didn't have a hand in such misery, so would certainly back any move to stop arming the Saudis. I can't see that happening though really. Money talks. Edited by BlueJay (09 Feb 2021 What is this war about? Their pro Saudi President was removed from power and what followed has essentially been half of decade of attempting to bomb them into submission. A geopolitical tussle with various international actors involved. When it's largely civilians getting killed though resulting in a humanitarian crisis, I believe our involvement and decision making should end there. Our attempts to involve ourself in middle east conflicts always ends in disaster and misery. Better off out of it.

Edited by Stirlingsays (09 Feb 2021 4.24pm) TBF the US started all this nonsense in the 50s with Saudi, so any cessation of supply (if genuine, which seems unlikely) is a bit late in the day

Was the removed president causing more deaths than now then, and was it a bit of nepotism towards his own that meant he got deposed. Maybe it wasnt the best move without a bit of foresight into who you are removing by whatever means. You need the bigger gun and clearly who ever instigated it dont.

It's more confidence trickery designed to keep the foolish fooled and angry. So when any real evidence emerges don't make an angry video. Put it in front of a Court and have it tested. That's the time for open eyes.

Well yes I'd agree that tkaing on Saudi interests may not always neatly file under 'great idea' . That's irrelevant to our involvement really. Trillions have been spent by the west in the middle east, it's done us no favour and has increased rather than diminished any bodycount. Considering the Saudis involvement in 9-11 I find it unfortunate that we still supply them with arms that are essentially used to bring misery to largely ordinary people.
