Over the past few seasons we've paid off a manager who managed a handful of games, signed the likes of Sorloth, Jach and Rakip, extended the contract of a long term crock, sold the brightest up and coming right back without a replacement, retained a front line with a only a handful of goals between them without seeking concrete alternatives - what a shambles. At the end of the day it comes down to incompetent management.

look at our history we are an unfashoinable club from an unfashionable part of London. That hasn't changed so the club remains a largley family based club with whatever investment we can pull in by being in the prem thats about it. If we had a great manager he wouldn't be at our clubif we produce great players they move to clubs with a bigger budget we have managerment and owners who know the score what amount of risk we can manage

The club has obviously hit its limits for spending and investors want a return on their money. The only real answer is to sell the club to someone wealthier.

Whilst the transfer window has been ordinary, for me the biggest issue is the fact we still have not started building the new stand! Edited by JamieT (10 Aug 2019 9.31am)

Edited by JamieT (10 Aug 2019 9.31am) Parish, has been very quite on that matter since making a big noise about it in the beginning, my guess is he is wanting to safeguard his investment in the club so that he can get his money out sometime soon!

We just don't have owners that are prepared to lose money. Yes, they were there when we needed rescuing but until we have a suger daddy type owner we'll struggle. Edited by premier fan (10 Aug 2019 12.18pm)

Anyone investing in a football club know from the outset they are at risk of losing shed loads of money. This is why for the life of me I cannot understand why the Americans wanted any involvement? Not only that they now want to jump ship after only a short stay. There are definitely questions to be answered here and there are certainly more questions than answers in this whole episode.

True, but imagine if we didn’t have anyone except 2010. We’d have been relegated the season Allardyce came in probably. Nobody knows if we’d have got anyone better or anyone for that matter. But I agree, they need to be bought asap, only it doesn’t look that easy.

Just enjoy the premiership because like most (all really) sides outside the top 6/8 we will return to the championship. Be realistic rather than moaning. Look at the championship, it’s full of sides that have been in the prem and look at the prem it’s full of sides that have been and will be back in the championship at some time. Enjoy it now and accept that one day this run will be over. The main thing is that we survive to fight another day and return like so many sides do :-)
