Exactly, I think in most sports its the men side that subsidies the women. However Most advertisers / sponsors seem keen to pay lip service to equality and throw some money their way which is their prerogative. I am not against say Men's football subsiding the women there's nothing wrong in trying to grow your brand I just don't agree they should get equal pay until an average game is watched by 30,000 people who have paid around £50 each.

The BBC once again exposing their complete double standards when it comes to identity politics.

BBC scraps free licence for over 75's unless they are on benefits. Good old Auntie they had no choice, well yes actually they did. The BBC has a huge budget and rather than trim it they have decided to punish the elderly. They were all in favour of a Labour government paying for free licenses but but when the Cameron government said it comes out of your budget this is their response. Suggestions on a postcard as to how the BBC could have saved the money elsewhere. I would suggest they look at their salary structure. I was told it's not just the celebrities and bureaucrats but many of the bog standard jobs are paid far higher then commercial TV.

There are so much savings across the board to be made, it would be very, very easy. "It follows a consultation with 190,000 people, of which 52% were in favour of reforming or abolishing free licences." Well what about the 48%? Don't they deserve a voice? Let's do the survey again!
