25 years ago today Clash of two massive punchers. What a fight, momentum continually swayed from one fighter to another. Absolutely loved Tommy

Tommy had moved out of Balboa’s basement by then.

Am I the only one who wonders if the timing of this announcement, which lets face it not alot has been agreed is maybe to take some heat off AJ after the grief he's been getting for his speech last weekend??

Recent events aside, if this comes off then it would be the biggest fight since Tyson Holyfield. Having one heavyweight champ with all/most of the belts would be great for boxing. See Fury winning, how? Not sure. Don’t see AJ knocking Fury out (although he is of course more than capable) but if Fury can take Wilders shots he can take AJs. Not a chance in hell that AJ out boxes Fury. This is a fight that would transcend boxing, black v white, north v south. Bring it on boys!

And that makes me feel sad in a way as it should not come to that but recent events dictate it will unfortunately... In boxing terms though I can see Fury winning this quite comfortably if im honest.. I just hope its held in Britain.. I actually think it would be a massive kick in the teeth to all those working class fans who have paid over the years to support these two and who can't afford to travel abroad... However money talks at the end of the day.

I go to a lot of fights but don’t waste my money going to these events as can’t afford/justify them (as fork out for my boys ticket as well) May watch this on pay per view with a beer and a takeaway. Prefer a night down York Hall where you can see the blood and smell the fear.
