The tories are no longer seen as competent economically.

In fact labours record is far better and that claim is a myth.

The tories hits to household budgets are going to hurt and it will be enough to defeat them imo.

Your track record of predictions has not been very good so far.

The Tories have dealt with Brexit and Covid in a short time, plus a global price rise for fuel.

Labour can't even control its own benefactors or its lunatic fringe.

The women you mentioned were mostly there for a completely pointless political demonstration in the middle of a lockdown, and they were indeed breaking the law.

Non answer. Either someone is ignoring lockdown laws or they aren't. You bending over when your 'favs' do it, and being outraged when women do it on account of the rape and murder of a young lady is just shows you up to be a sniveling suck up and hypocrite. Principles aren't principles when they exist solely around your own interests.

You talk as if only Tories are guilty of hypocrisy and rule bending.
Get a grip. The subservience here is your idiotic quasi religious faith in socialism and the wannabees that peddle it.

Not at all. I've posted multiple times (including today) of how they're all at it. What you actually mean here is 'why not let my preferred party off'. Well no, if you set the rules, you get to abide by them.

I don't care if Tory HQ is the scene of a Romanesque orgy every night, as long as they run the country responsibly.

Why do you care? Because you hate people who are better off than you.

The behaviour itself is a glaring example of not running the country responsibility and feeds into how extreme the 'them and us' has become. Throughout the whole pandemic there have been endless examples of contracts for mates, rules that kept us away from seeing and mourning loved ones, and restrictions to business and person that apparently we now learn are entirely optional for those setting said rules. How 'responsible'. That last fact is the pertinent point here.

Your imagined idea that I care because I hate people more successful than myself in more clichéd fantasy. And beyond that departure from reality, no party would be getting my vote right now anyway.

Bang on the money. Handing out million pound contract like confetti while pished off their heads on alcohol bought on expenses.

I disengage, I turn the page.

Only one party is in power. Clearly we don't know how others would've dealt with the pandemic so it's an irrelevant point. There are certainly serious reservations about how the pandemic has been dealt with (that would likely be true whoever was leading!). Covid has largely led its own course. Funnily enough the trajectory of a global pandemic isn't controlled by a political party in the UK.

As for Brexit, yes I voted for it, as did over half of the country. Many of whom are unhappy with the current situation too funnily enough. You're an unprincipled PR campaign for individuals who couldn't be bothered to pull their weight despite demanding by threat of fine and even imprisonment that the rest of us did. If you're so blinded by political allegiance that it colours all you think, say and believe, then you're little more than a conduit.

You love telling others what they think, but you aren't so keen on being told yourself, are you.

There is no excuse for flouting your own rules, except perhaps when you are running the country.

You might say that this is counterproductive and irresponsible, and perhaps in an ideal world it is, but I find that the noisy self righteous types who make a big deal of these things are often those who are the biggest hypocrites.

In any case, there is no credible alternative for government or possibly even for a Tory leader. That is the bottom line.

Your agenda is clear. Mine is to focus on what matters right now rather than stuff that is of little consequence in the grand scheme.

Waffle.

The only blind person here is the one who can't see their own prejudice. That would be you.

I'm happy to admit that I'd never vote Labour, but more importantly, I can see the bigger picture when it comes to the interests of the country. That will not be served by a Tory power struggle perpetuated by a load of upstart new MPs who don't know their political arse from their elbow.

Indeed.

Starmer right on the money at PMQ.

The 'inquiry' will be an avoidance exercise, but one questions an enquiry at all, as Downing Street has apologised to the Queen, thereby making the admission.

Sir Humphrey & Co will be up late working on this one.

But true.

Instead of your tedious attempted character assassination of me, why don't you try a bit of self improvement. You could certainly do with some.
