AJ will have most of the black support or ‘people of colour’ support (God I hate that term) but this is a personality individual sport so who knows on Fury. Some of his bizarre opinions have been forgotten and now his bravery or remarkable 8 second or years out comebacks are what stands out. Most are hopefully just glad some decent matchups are happening rather than rip-off contests I wouldn’t pay for or show my arse out of bed for across the water that early. I have my limits.

My point was more the black support will be with AJ. You can guarantee that. That was my point. The rest you quote I mainly agree with although AJ’s accent isn’t really a traditional London accent. Anyway, it won’t matter one iota unless one gets unnerved at a venue with one sided support but it’ll probably be fought on another continent anyway.

It's all about opinions. If I had any real knowledge, I'd be a Promoter, or trainer. Wilder was seemingly struggling after 30 seconds of the first round. Almost like he had an asthma attack, and was struggling for breath. And his footwork wasn't up to par. Wilder will take a few weeks to see if he wants to take on Fury again. We'll have to see how quickly his injuries and ego heal. Then if he swerves it, I guess AJ-Fury is the only show in town. Whilst they are both on their best form.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

When it comes to fighters avoiding each other nobody really knows. Boxing promoters inhabit a murky world they will never be as stupid to decline a fight rather they will set demands that cannot be matched and then complain that the other side ran away. I think the public will demand Fury Vs AJ due to demand it will have to be in a football stadium so if they don't get on on this summer it won't happen this year. Either that or they grab the Arab money and put it on in a soulless arena in the desert. Edited by Badger11 (23 Feb 2020 4.58pm)

I think Badger has some good points. A bit like Palace, no-one knows what goes on behind the scenes. We just know that promoters are trying to maximise the return on their investment.

I’d like to see Usyk fight whyte, then the winner fight Joshua/ fury after they fight.

I'm not sure it'll be in Saudi after Fury thanking of jc etc... I'm sure that wouldn't go down well with the locals... Reckon old Trafford or whl.

A real kick in the face for all those fans who have supported both fighters for years... The majority of them being working class people who can’t afford a trip to Saudi... Common sense would say it’s gotta be in front of 80,000+ at Wembley
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

The Rumble in the Jungle kind of set the precedent for chasing wonga, when it should have perhaps been held in the USA. The obstacles at the moment are that Wilder wants the re-match. But he can be paid a deferment fee to perhaps face the winner of AJ-Fury. At this sort of level, even holding the AJ-Fury fight at Wembley, ticket prices are likely to be outrageous. The money men have a lot of work to do
