The fascinating thing for me is, that those who feel culturally under attack from foreign societies are celebrating a Britain that is a product of the influences of those same groups. We were inspired by the mathematics developed in Islamic societies during the middle ages, and we built on their foundations - 'stood on the shoulders of giants' as Newton would say - in the enlightenment, with its love for Physics and Maths. We eat curries from India, drink Chinese tea, play Moorish guitars and have a political system developed by the Greeks. Not that this is something we should be ashamed of by the way, we too have enjoyed and enhanced these great inventions. But rather it should inform us when we decide to stigmatise a whole community, particularly one as diverse, philosophically and culturally rich as that of Islam on the actions of a few. Ireland, like many countries, you can have a curry but there are no Muslim grooming gangs.

Yes, beautiful, can you by the way answer, any of the questions posed to you . I'm starting to find you amusing, as you have no real answers to anything. I'll help you with my question: Well, my friend it's called a SNOB!

You appear to have no issues stigmatizing whole communities. So I regard this as hypocrisy.

I'll help you with my question: Well, my friend it's called a SNOB! Where did I say it? The main argumemt i've made is that racism is fundamentally an elitist ideology, peddled first and foremost by the rich as a means to, say, win an election or invade a country for its wealth. The working classes in this country have given us the anti-apartheid movement, at a time when our government supported it. It has taken to the streets to oppose Iraq when the concensus in parliament was solidly pro-invasion. It has also played a massive role in the creation of the largest political party in Europe, and the unexpected staying power of a politician who demands we invest in public education, public health and local communities, all while being laughed at by the establishment media.

Where did I say it? Can't believe I have to show your quote on a previous post you made. But that's the type of fella you are. Did I mention my tolerance of common sense? Anyway, here it is: No mention of middle, upper, or snobs. Snobs just so you know, can be any class. If you want you can post another great history lesson, or address your, remarks towards the British working class, who come from all backgrounds. Edited by Park Road (10 Jun 2018 3.20pm)
