Bullet dodged. He is not good enough to wear the Palace shirt imo, either in football or character terms.

I was listening to Talksport earlier and they were slating Caulker and Liverpool for signing him (even on loan). Apparently his last game for Southampton was the 6-1 defeat to Liverpool in the League Cup. The key point they made, was that even when he was possibly playing at his best, Tottenham were still prepared to sell him. We have a far better centre back on the bench in Hangeland.

Caulker's story isn't that different from many of the current squad. Cast off by other teams, didn't quite make it. Depends how much he has to prove
