Yep. Can well believe it. My old mum wishes she had voted for Corbyn now. The negative connotations surrounding an 'X' in the Labour candidates box must have diminished for plenty others too who didn't vote for him. Plus, May has been outed for the inept liability she is for everyone now to see.

If he holds his nerve and there is an election in October and Tories in a mess still I reckon he just might do it.

You and Jeremy must be feeling buoyant with the sudden belief that some people actually take your nutty backward politics seriously. TBF most of them are under 20 but don't be disheartened. Age doesn't always equal wisdom....or piles.

Overturning a 56 seat majority still needs one hell of a swing. I doubt Labour have it in their locker. It'll just be another hung Parliament.

The article which had the poll I quoted says that a further swing of 1.98% would be enough for a very small majority.

That's quite achievable IMO .

Amazing how voting for someone can feel not the right thing to do until you hear loads of other people have which gives you comfort to join in.

Recent experience should tell us that polls (other than exit polls) don't tell us sh*t.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

42% of the voters are Communists according to your logic, warped as it is as always. Maybe, just maybe, the voters are starting to believe that a Corbyn-led administration will look after Britain's interests a helluvalot more that the greedy capitalists, corporate lackeys, media prostitutes the Tory party are and have been for a long time now.

Nearly all the social ills you see today you can trace back to the eighties and the social backwardness of that government and the resulting increasing of those problems which are still very evident now.

Vote Tory and that is another nail in Britain's coffin.

It is like that but its more because anyone can see from the manifesto and his personality that Jeremy is nothing like the media portray him.

What you have hit on here, inadvertently or not, I'm not sure, is the need to have room to manoeuvre with monetary policy and Keynesian policy after such economic crises. This was a major point for trying to conserve what manoeuvrability we had left in 2010, versus add Balls and Cambridge who both wanted to spend out of the global situation right there and then.

I felt they were wrong then because the risk was big. I think they're more right now but who really knows? I dislike both extremes and would ideally prefer the balanced and responsible Keynesian economics but both parties are poles apart making Leicester winning the premier league again more likely.

This is true but she won't be leading the Tories into another election. It'll be someone with talent, charisma, policies, ability to cross part debate on tv, and not an introverted loaner. Someone like David Davis. Oh and they'll pull their socks up next time. Last time was pathetic. It won't be if they get a leader rather than an operations manager which she is.

Most people are sheep. Not an insult just a fact of life.
