A big name announcement might give a bit of hope. Like Rafa maybe, or even that Stills mentioned above. I would take Hassenhutl over Roy. Sorry Roy.

We need someone who will instil passion and fight into the squad. Steve Parish needs to get interviewing and deliver. It’s now not enough for him to just swan around looking angular and thin.
The beatings will stop when morale improves. |

Just watched Will Stills Reines and although they lost they were unlucky and definitely the better team. He has them playing with passion and confidence and second half he altered the formation and they battered Marseille. At the end of the game the players looked upset for losing unlike some of our players.

Nearly every manager associated with the managers job has failed at their previous job and will take the job for the money. In my opinion we get Will Still. This guy has come from nothing, worked for free to get where he is today. He's hungry and wants success and nit just here for the money. He's a sensation and ill be gutted if we don't take this opportunity because another Premier league club will take him soon.

It's interesting every time we need a new manager. It's a case of whoever is flavour of the month. Generally someone young and up and coming. At the moment t seems to be Kompany, Carrick and Stills. Appointing Viera was similar and when he came some on here were lauding him as the 2nd coming. If you look at Still's history he s still extremely raw. May well prove to do well in the future but needs to develop and gain experience. A lot of the time these managers don't make it the Prem (Lampard, Jones). Honestly for me I do think Roy is right on an interim bass until the end of the year he will get us the points we need. Then after that my top 3 are: 1. Biesla think Biesla knows his stuff, well respected in the game and his high energy/tempo philosophy could rejuvenate the younger players get results and be exciting to watch. Leeds fans still rate him very highly, which speaks volumes. Edited by Mwncisee (20 Mar 2023 12.50pm)

And it seems that we are equally vocal in whom we don't want and last time round the majority didn't seem to want Eddie Howe as he was rubbish. Before anyone can say that he has billions behind him he started to turn Newcastle's fortunes around before the transfer window opened

Whoever gets appointed, hope Parish doesn't mess around. This fortnight is extremely important for our survival, so the sooner the players know, the better.
