Newcastle getting tonked 3 at Brighton. I can only see them getting 3 points against Sheff U before facing Fulham on the last day of the season. They are bang in trouble.

They are a club in absolute dire straits.

If Newcastle should go down and the vultures circle too pick their better players, I’d love us too pick up Jamaal Lascelles, a beast of a centre back.

Brighton seemed to be clicking in front of goal now. Newcastle however look bereft of anything up front. They will not overhaul our current point total and I very much doubt Fulham will either.

There is every chance Fulham will go down especially now that Newcastle are likely to sack Bruce and have Wilson and Saint Maxim back after the international break.

Fulham are not as good as people seem to think.

Unfortunately I think after Fridays defeat Fulham are on the brink, some nice football but little to show for them in recent games. A shame as the Putney away day is one of my favourites.

I guess the real test for both teams is Fulham / Newcastle on the final day ...

Looks like Newcastle haven't got relegation clauses in their contract could be in trouble if they go down. [Link]

You would think they had learned that lesson by now they are a bit of a yoyo club.

Looking at the weekly wages, it shows how we have been grossly overpaying. No wonder we have no money

No, we just lacked one very decent striker who'll provide all the encouragement and confidence we've been missing since Alan Pardew.

Fulham have been creating the better chances in their games and have let fewer goals in losing the majority of their games by the odd goal and games where if they'd been able to take just one of their good opportunities would've been walking away with a deserved point, whereas Newcastle have been all over the place, I've been watching all their games and it's plain to see that Fulham are so much better as a unit, also the games remaining are horrendous for Newcastle in comparison to Fulham's.
