The silent protest is best. If you don't like it, don't go, simples. If enough people did that they would observe the message from the empty seats but you just know that aint going to happen.

What the Liverpool fans to get rid of Hodgson, average attendence went down 10,000 Board soon acted

Parrish Out, Greedman Out, Americans Out banners at the game on Saturday and at every supporters club and pics posted on social media. Yes get behind the team but enough is enough from Parish and Co.

Just when you think that comments here couldn't get any more asinine, up pops this.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Last season’s home games were frankly disappointing to embarrassing - few goals/ wins and the only rays of sunshine were our young right back and Wilf (though he tailed off). The former has gone and the latter, well who knows. A striker and right back were the absolute priorities and we got neither. As a season ticket holder for 30 years and supporter for another 20, surely we could have done better given our circumstances?

A redeveloped stadium is the basis for progression going forward. If we are relegated without this being realised then our stay in the PL will be for nothing.

I am gobsmacked tha we haven't signed a striker. I am hoping for a last minute surprise like Batshuayi last time.

That is down to mismanagement of the club by Parish, as for the striker I could not agree more and again down to Parish, he has no ida on succession planning demonstrated by the fact throughout last season he knew that none of our so called donkey strikers could score, this included Ayew, so what does Parish do, he then goes and buy's him for 2+mil to fill a role that he was useless at as he demonstrated in last season performances. What is wrong with the man, what on earth has he been doing all summer, is this the best he can up with a batch of aged slowing up or injury prone midfield players, no decent right back and enough said about strikers. I fear fo this club under Parish, he has upset Wilf to the point he wants out, this is bound to have an adverse effect on his performance as his heart is not with us anymore. Parish please resign and go!

The Americans have a great deal to answer too, complete disaster IMO. No understanding of football in any shape or form, We need to sort the ownership issue asap and the redevelopment urgently.

This thread could be about any of the Chairmen and Managers over the last 50 years, it just seems to be the way we are. Social media seems to have heighten the expectations of many fans, but the reality is that we have always been punching above our weight and it always catches up with this eventually.
I can remember Dowie/Jordan windows when "failed to get him across the line" was first used in many failed purchases, mainly because of Jordans refusal to deal with agents.
Goldberg just out of his depth and lost his money.
Noades had the biggest opportunity to progress us to a different level, but got disenchanted and syphoned off the money to fund his golf clubs.
Boyle sold off the Whitehorse End to Sainsburys and buggered off to QPR with the money and our best players.
There is no guarantee a new Chairman will be any different from the rest, I cant work out why people think it will be different with somebody new.

I think we helped Wilf by stopping a sideways move and it didn't work out well up North before. Really disappointed that we didn't bring in a right back - ridiculous. With the personality vacuum that is DF in the key role, its really no surprise. We need a fresh hungry management team in assp.

Well, we see that Brighton, Watford and Bournemouth all seem to have a good working management structure that has an idea about succession planning, what it means and they get the job done, so what is wrong with expecting the same for our club, there has to be someone out there to take forward and upwards!

This makes sense. We are who we are. Embrace it and get behind the team.

Absolutely right, we're being left in the dust. We almost have a really good team - a striker and a right back and we'd all be delighted on here. Instead our dealings have been so inadequate that we're all wondering if things haven't gone very wrong behind the scenes.
