When Thatcher died I did think good riddance, as did many others. But that is entirely different to wishing someone dead. i can understand people wanting someone out of power if they view their politics to be damaging, but she hadnt been in politics for decades and was just an old lady at that point really.

Lot of hypocrisy from both sides really. No one should ever politicise a death let alone wish for it. Right & Left, just as bad as each other IMHO.

You repeatedly wished of her death and repeatedly told us all how much you'd celebrate. You never clarified once that you'd only do so if it were of natural causes. I seem to recall you have also revelled in the deaths and injuries sustained in the Brighton bomb. Apologies if it wasn't you, but i'm reasonably sure it was. Nope not me guv. Brighton bomb was a terrible atrocity.

I am not saying this is the case here but other assassinations in the past have had the hallmarks of possible brainwashing. I suppose there is the type of person who always dismisses conspiracy theory out of had and those who believe them all. I would just look at the facts as they are presented and keep an open mind. Do we believe that David Kelly conveniently committed suicide? Or that the rather troublesome Princess Diana was in an unlucky accident? Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (20 Jun 2016 1.13pm) im not sure i'd believe that its common for people not to remember what they've done but i dont rule out that people can be persuaded or nudged in certain directions. what these tell us is that Mair has a long lucid history of holding these beliefs. That would play into the idea that he did this of his own volition. In playing devils advocate though we also know from these articles that he was already known to security services. Therefore those leaning towards conspiracy could argue that he couldve been influenced in some way more recently.

Sections of the left complain about 'language' and 'tone'....Complete nonsense of course. They have been ripping into Trump like he's their personal Hitler doll and now we get another mentally ill nutter wanting to kill him. You can smell the hypocrisy. I don't want to live in a politically correct world where you can't say what you think because we have nutters.......and that goes for whatever political slant you have......Nutters will break and burn the world whatever anyone says......They shouldn't be a promotion for censorship.
