Errr....no you don't, you just defend whatever the establishment wants and pretty much call all opposition conspiracy. Oh here's another conspiracy theory happening down in Aussie. [Tweet Link] I no more "defend the establishment" than I would defend your views! I defend sense and criticise poor judgement when I see it, whatever its source. Just so long as that source is trustworthy. I have regularly criticised the Tories in the last few years, less so since Hunt became Chancellor when a more sensible approach was adopted. You cannot get more "establishment" than the Tories, although I anticipate you thinking otherwise. I criticise much of the ownership of the press. So you can get a chip inserted in Australia, if you choose to. What's the big deal? It's a free choice. The time to get excited is if it becomes compulsory. That the technology exists isn't new . I am not planning to get one but that's my choice. Then you think a right-wing libertarian posting opinions somehow proves anything more than such opinions exist? I think we know that.

Coming from you that is risible. You hold the weirdest of conspiracy theories to be true and believe we are all headed to some kind of dystopian future unless people who hold your worldview take control. It's untrue and you won't. For both I give thanks.

Once again, what was once said to be a conspiracy theory now becomes reality and we get the nicey nicey copes by way of explaining. This approach was exactly how homosexuality went from being banned during most of your twenties (which I don't agree with) to now children in an English Christian school being asked for their views on it and then given two days punishment for saying they think it's a sin....which I think is a sodding outrage. Anyone with more than two brain cells knows what the playbook is here. The parent here deserves applause and the teachers have been awful here and are hiding behind legislation which wasn't meant to be used like this.....I suspect many of the conservatives who voted to pass it wouldn't have done it. Because they have the power now and it turns out that they decided to forgot all the previous objections they had....like being against censorship and authoritarianism.....and instead just become that instead. The parallels to the soviets or even Moaism is again very clear. They have their own secular idealogy and they are going to force it onto people as much as they can.

Lefties will get it in the ass when the majority is finally sick of all their preachy crap.

If they have their head up their arse that is. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (29 Apr 2023 12.43pm) Demographic change since humans first moved out of Africa has had significance. The pace of change has speeded up in every aspect of life. So we need to learn to adapt quicker too. You learned to use a keyboard, rather than a quill pen, easily enough, but seem incapable of doing so in other areas. Try harder, because if you don't you are going to be left behind. Changes like these are not reversible and banging your head on brick walls only causes you pain. The bricks don't notice.

Edited by Stirlingsays (29 Apr 2023 1.05pm) Exceptions exist in remote corners that are capable of being interpreted to prove every conspiracy theory true. Trawling long and hard through the darkest corners of the internet to provide support for a conspiracy theory, and then claiming it's no longer a conspiracy theory, is no better than searching for a quote from the Old Testament to provide support for every prejudice under the sun. Especially when the presentation takes events out of their context and spins them to suggest malign intent which almost certainly isn't there.

Man, could you be anymore out of touch? This is an English school and they spoke of policy....and you are suggesting exceptions....man, drink some coffee or something you're on the blink.

Twitter has many dark corners, used by those seeking to spread their own odd analysis of things. That they interpret and present things as policy is just their opinion. It doesn't make it so. That a right-wing poster on a football forum agrees is hardly either surprising or very important.

It's the typical speech of an authoritarian who can't accept that there are many people who disagree with his ideas at a fundamental level and would silence them. There are plenty of left wing people and people of the entire political spectrum on Twitter. Unlike you there isn't a legal group that I would call 'dark' and nor would I seek to silence their opinions.
