For once Matthau has posted something useful.

The claims being made in this thread are getting ever more bizarre. Those from Matthou are too extreme to really even take in so let's look at a few that at least have a connection to the real world. Pipe bombs were found outside the Congress building. They weren't. They were found at the HQs of both the DNC and RNC. Whether those involved were also involved in entering Congress is unknown but they would not have been the victims. Politicians might have been. I mentioned the Republican and Democrat HQ situations. Biden, stating that 'no one can tell me, that if it had been a group of blm protesting yesterday, that they wouldn't have been treated very very differently than the mob of thugs that stormed the capital. We all know that's true and it's unacceptable, totally unacceptable'. Yet as stated...and ignored, the black panthers broke into the Capitol building back in 1967...when apparently the US was a hateful evil country. The panthers were fully armed to the teeth and yet were eventually arrested with zero casualties. Originally posted by Wisbech Eagle
Ashli Babbitt's death has had widespread media attention. Of course any death in such circumstances is truly awful but who was really to blame? Her for allowing her own obsessive conviction that Trump is right to reach the point where she put herself in harm's way by illegally entering the Congress? Or Trump by allowing such sentiment to fester? It almost certainly wasn't the officer who used his weapon when faced by a mob. The full investigation will reveal more no doubt. What an ignorant and frankly appalling summary. George Floyd was a criminal high on drugs and people burn down cities in his name. Babbitt, a military veteran, enters a building her taxes helped pay for and an idiot, who was under no attack, fatally shoots a bullet through her neck......and there's you sticking up for it and even waffling about Trump.

I hear the FBI are arresting plenty of people, including Antifa who are planning attacks on Trump supporters. It's certainly going to be spicy on the 20th and I expect some travelling to the various events won't be travelling back. All the dissentient leaders are advising to stay at home but I think there is going to be trouble nevertheless. Where's Mainey?...He's gone a bit quiet. Especially as he's been talking about wanting the opportunity to get into the thick of it for months.

I mentioned the Republican and Democrat HQ situations. No you didn't. You said, "they were left outside the capitol building." Biden, stating that 'no one can tell me, that if it had been a group of blm protesting yesterday, that they wouldn't have been treated very very differently than the mob of thugs that stormed the capital. We all know that's true and it's unacceptable, totally unacceptable'. Which is backed up by the objective analysis carried out by "US Crisis Monitor". It didn't appear out of thin air. Whataboutery by trying to link it to an event more than 50 years ago is no answer whatsoever. We are discussing the situation in 2021. George Floyd was a criminal high on drugs and people burn down cities in his name. Of course they didn't do either. They protested about the way the police handled him. His name was unimportant. That others exploited those protests for political reasons doesn't alter the facts. Babbitt, a military veteran, enters a building her taxes helped pay for and an idiot, who was under no attack, fatally shoots a bullet through her neck......and there's you sticking up for it and even waffling about Trump. Wrong again. She entered a building illegally and a security person, trying to do his job to protect those democratically elected to represent all the people and who were under threat and in fear for their lives, used his weapon. Should he have not done so far greater numbers of genuinely innocent lives would likely have been lost. The enquiry will reveal the truth. As Trump carries at least some of the responsibility for why those people were there it is entirely appropriate to mention his name. Edited by Wisbech Eagle (16 Jan 2021 3.35pm)

I do enjoy the aspersions to Ashi Babbitt being a victim and George Floyd getting what he asked for because he was a "criminal".

So the racist claims made by Biden are bunk....like most things that come out of his mouth and your keyboard. Originally posted by Wisbech Eagle

Well, the trial for Floyd hasn't finished yet your 'protests' resulted in 27 deaths, huge numbers of injuries and countless destroyed businesses..All illegal outcomes. No Democrat criticised those rioters until after they had 'won' the election. If any of those criminals had been shot in the neck, no doubt more cities would have been burned down. Yet, you are happy to demonise this military veteran who lost her life in what the video clearly shows was a completely unnecessary shooting.

Floyd was a proven convicted criminal, however, I don't think he was 'getting what he asked for'. Edited by Stirlingsays (16 Jan 2021 3.58pm)
