I don't know why people bother to talk about transfers so soon we always leave it until last minute it has been the same every year in this windows and even the case most times when we do sign people in the summer. We will bring a few in even if only loans

Will the PVA offer be accepted? It would seem strange for a club like Palace to sell a starter who has done very well at a loss from the price at which he came. Also, how's the word on Batshuayi? Chelsea appear close to bringing a new center forward in (Lampard's words), so might let him go at the last minute. I think the board is waiting for this. Wickham will probably leave for gametime, but if Bats comes, there will be him, Cenk Tosun, Jordan Ayew, already 3 center forwards. Does Benteke's Club Brugge transfer depend on Batshuayi coming? We have 1 left back. Schlupp and Riedewald are not left backs.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |

In terms of left-backs I have heard good reports of a teenage left-back called Sam McCallum, whom Coventry signed from Herne Bay.

How many goals does he contribute to while playing more advanc3d? Not many. Riedewald might be a central midfielder, but there are already McArthur, Milivojevic, Kouyate, McCarthy and even Meyer if you count him centrally. All for 2-3 places (depending on how we play). I can't see Riedewald sliding anywhere in midfield.

Riedewald is behind the highlighted players in the midfield pecking order but Milivojevic is 29 this year and the others are either in their 30s or going to be 30 this year. I believe that Riedewald was signed by De Boer to either play in midfield or in a back three.

He is in my opinion one the weakest players in our squad who shouldn't be playing in any position when all others are fit. Riedewald may have held his own for a few games at LB but over the course of a full season he would be found out time and time again. PVA is our only recognised LB and we need an upgrade on him anyway.

It would be odd, although not unheard of, for a manager to say he isn't selling any players if one of his players was indeed on the verge of a move (see Jamal Lewis rumour), unless Norwich's board forgot to notify Farke before this weekend's press conference.
