Pmsl, Street has just decked their keeper yellow card
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Oh dear. I agree that red cards in friendlies are counterproductive but if its serious foul play then that's different. I don't mind Palace getting some practice with ten men, but what a shame for Kirby. What a sensible ref would have done (if it was a red card) is spoken to bench to tell them to sub him or he would send him off

Mateta played a lot better this game than last.. Especially link-up play. Glad for him to get a goal. Regarding the freekick which reading scored from, how Jairo has his back literally to the freekick taker (ie he didn't even see the freekick being taken) when he's in the wall is honestly the most idiotic thing I've seen in a long time. I know he's a bit of a cowardly lion when it comes to blocking shots.. But that was something else (I don't even want to call it schoolboy error as I played ball for both primary and secondary team and never did I see a player in the wall with his back completely facing the freekick taker)

We'll really need Ayew this year, what with Eze out, Mateta unproven, Olise and Rak-Sahki so young. What a good signing Ayew turned out to be. He really worked and grafted his way out of his poor early form as well.
