I’m not saying this is you, but some ppl talk up Howe and Wilder, but then turn there noses up at Rafa. Everyone gets sacked from Madrid and not many are successful. If palace really want to try and go to that next level, we need a leader/manager who has done that. Going for out of contact managers who have recently been relegated is recipe for same old, same old in my opinion. To be honest I have no idea who should be our next manager. I wouldn’t say no to Rafa but his career has not been all plain sailing. I have no interest in Howe or Wilder as I think Roy is better than both. I have my ups and downs with Roy but right now I think he should be kept on for a couple more years. He has his flaws but I wouldn’t change him for the sake of it. I really believe that if we do well in the home stretch then Roy will be kept on. There will be no complaints from me.

Mr Hodgson might already have decided that he wishes to bring the curtain down on his managerial career, informed the 'Board' and the club have decided they will make an announcement when appropriate.

As for Rafa, I don't see him being the tiniest bit interested in a club like us. I reckon he wants one last chance in the PL at the big time and that means one of the big six clubs with Spuds or Arsenal being the most likely if Mourinho and/or Arteta are shown the door.

I wish you'd make your mind up as your BBS alter ego is claiming something different:- Originally posted by Trolley My good self has a "Feeling in my water" that our "Next Manager" will not be in situ for the start of next season.
"Wor Roy" will once again be in the CPFC 'Technical Area' for the opening game of next season. :lux:

From Roys previous press conferences it sounds like he is happy and wants to continue to manage us! Im sure i heard this anyway...
