Newcastle scored first so why wasn't that game over as soon as they scored? We won that one remember? Injuries have been horrendous this season and don't tell me that it hasn't made any difference. Ask any Manager if they would prefer a settled team rather than having to make changes all the time. If you think they don't make a difference look at Liverpool, they lost VvD to a season ending injury and haven't been the same since

I watched his post match interview and he clearly stated that he was happy with a return of 4 points against teams who are younger & more expensive than us, whilst we have key players out injured, but would still like to see us do more in possession. If you'd rather us lose matches for the sake of appeasing the whingers, it's a good job you're not in charge of the club. Roy works with what he has at his disposal. What he has at his disposal isn't too great.

In your time supporting the club, you've witnessed the utter dross served up by Trevor Francis and Peter Taylor. Now that was unenjoyable. This is still the most successful period in the club's entire history and I'd far rather witness this period where we're an established Premier League side going through a temporary issue involving squad age and depth. There have been far more unenjoyable periods than this. I agree they were periods of dross, as was the George Burley era, but it at least felt like the games mattered. We never seem to be near the relegation zone or Europe and there is no desire to go for a cup run. I am aware that it is a successful period for the club but mid table mediocrity playing dour football is taking its toll. I've never been so disinterested in Palace as I am now. Either way, there should be big changes this summer with so many players out of contract and Roy probably retiring. It could be a boom or bust - both of which are better than what we are going through now.

Next season will be a watershed for the club. It's very likely we won't have Zaha and a lot of older players are out of contract and probably off. It'll be a new side with probably a new manager. New era perhaps.....a relegation season or new renewal.

This, however, I've been A little disappointed also with Jairo. I was hoping he would relish his extended run in the team and really make it his own. I don't think he has, and can see him being ejected in favour of either j.Mac's.

I dont understand the whole "id rather be in the championship playing exiting football. Since I have supported palace (03/04 season) we have never played exciting football not that i remember anyway! only good season we had was the one we got promoted in? I have never followed us for the "fancy football" we play. Under pardew we would score goals but loose 4-3, 5-4 and let in last minute goals to loose all the time! Perhaps everyone has become more armchair fans lately seeing as we arnt in the stadiums and more critical?

It’s having the pick of players and having options from the bench. We don’t have that at the moment. So Tomkins, Schlupp, Jimmy Mac, Zaha, Kelly , Sakho. All these players would feature in the first 11 or from the bench, that’s a fact. And you don’t think there is a problem, you named 4 yourself and one of them is our top scorer. Who’s deluded? you are clearly the deluded one. Firstly you name 3 defenders in your list - 2 of whom (Kelly and Sakho) rarely feature when fit. Of the others i already mentioned them but pointed out that Jeff and Macca aren't the most creative. You do realise that if Schlupp was fit Roy would almost certainly replace Eze with him as he did over xmas. Is that what you want? Payers featuring from the bench - like the substitution on Sunday!! We had 2 strikers on the bench on Sunday FFS. Every team gets injuries that's a fact. That's why you have a squad - stop making excuses.
