For me Eze. This type of game is not his bag. He hardly touched the ball and when he did he went back towards our goal and miss placed so many passes. I f we are going to set up this way again we would be better off playing someone else.

UNBELIEVABLE.

We win away against our 'deadly rivals' & all you want to do is start a thread about who was the most crap PALACE player. FFS, give me strength. Already this thread is turning into same old, same old, Roy In v Roy Out with the same (on avg) 8 posters regurgitating same bollox.

The game was crap, we were crap, they were 'crappier' who cares, WE WON

Sorry, rant over.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Totally agree. We won against an in-form Brighton. Let's just celebrate the moment.

good rant, I agree with your comments 100&.

The bedwetters and Roy hate club just wan't let go even when we win away at Brighton and have our best points haul after this number of games ever.

I think Jairo sort of knows positioning, but he is so slow that it doesn't matter. Eze, by contrast, looks unsure of where he's supposed to be, and so he is constantly caught between places. He should continue to be on the pitch constantly, the better to learn. The better a defender he can become, the more fluid will be our transition from defense to attack.

Jairo may appear slow, but does a lot of the unnoticed “donkey work” but still managed to be in Brighton’s box calling for the ball when Tekkers scored. IMO should build our midfield around him, get a Gallagher type next to him

You are mostly abusive whatever the subject. This is a board with opinions, now I appreciate some lack the intellectual ability to rationally put forward an argument but if you want to deal in abuse only can I suggest you post on the NSC.

I don't suppose you see the irony that you are part of a bandwagaon of lemmings who are constantly wetting the bed and jumping on other people's posts about football... on a football forum?

I suppose it is a waste of time... you're right on that.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Thought we had a good line up was surprised with how awful we were especially with the simple task of passing and we never seem to be able to win 50/50s we give up too easily in possession often just falling over, not sure if it's down to anyone or the players quite confusing considering Eze was hardly noticeable when we needed him to carry the ball, we miss the likes of Schlupp very badly, very disappointed with management and our players, performance was horrendous, result absolutely out of this world lol ...in my book Eze was our least effective player because we know he can run with the ball.

I wondered if the 'siege' mentality took something away from the concentration of players on the day? That's my only explanation for it as it was noticeable and for all their faults we're better than some of what we showed in possession.

I'll say it again however I still feel it was the right call, I was dreading conceding a boatload of goals and on the day the set up stacked the odds in our favour and paved the way for an albeit highly unlikely win!!

Eze, wasn’t the only one struggling to get anything going, in that mid field. And not just in this last game. Eze, doesn’t really have an excuse, any more than the others.
In the modern game, he can not just rely on being dangerous going forward, he has to be reliable in danger areas ,and he isn’t yet.
They all had bad moments , Monday night, Jairo, was all over the place at times using his leg like wand , a problem they all suffered, when he should have been making a real contact, Milo, at at least can bite, but was full of rough edges, Townsend, as ever tried hard, and came up with that cross,. Can’t tackle, and their goal may well not have happened , if he had not stood ball watching , whilst their wing back wandered around behind him , whilst he stood there clueless.

This whole thread is just a whingefest, from the title heading onwards. What a waste of energy. We did win the game, our ninth victory of the season. Still, now you can waste some more of it whinging at me.

i am sure you'll be the first to whinge if we play the same tactics v Fulham and lose 2 or 3 nil
