Ward over Clyne?
Unless he is injured he is match fit and fast - Ward is neither.
Why do that - it makes no sense.
Three defensive changes again.
I hope to be proved wrong but an idiotic move in my eyes

Ward is a better defender.

I really hope Ayew is playing wide and Eze central in a 4-5-1.

If it's 4-4-2, Brighton have done us just by playing 3 central mids. West Ham and Leeds both made a mockery of us in the centre of the park set up that way.

If that hasn't been sorted out, it's on Roy.

The cameraman made a point of broadcasting a close-up of our Eze throwing a "Black Power" clenched-fist pose before the kick-off.

What's next? "Sieg Heil'?

Well, we made it through 5 minutes without giving up a goal so things are looking up.

Just what I was thinking. But the radio commentator has just remarked that Brighton have made a bright start. So nothing changes.

If anything him playing 4-5-1 tonight is the epitome of fan frustration with him.

It means the rubbish we all saw immediately in the West Ham game has taken Hodgson 3 games to get on top of. He could've changed it at half time against West Ham.

I'm increasingly convinced that it's our lack of pressing until the opposition hit the halfway line that means we spend the entire game under our own crossbar at present.
