We need to put them to the sword early and not give them any hope of kickstarting their season. I can half forgive Roy for sacrificing Eze v Leicester, as we would always be defending in that game. But possession should be more even in this one and we need Eze creating in the middle. 2-0 Palace

Sheffield United will be relegated this season, but they will win a game sooner or later surely, even if only due to the law of averages. It would be a mistake to believe that anyone they do beat must be incompetent or negligent. That said, they are bottom for a reason. If we can avoid conceding a first half goal then I can see united leaving gaps as the game goes on. They need wins rather than draws. 0-0 at half time.

I think the game will get postponed and Blades will come back at the replay and win 1 - 0

They have to win some time and on past form it will be against us. We will as is often the case not bother playing for at least first 20 mins, they will score 1st and we will huff and puff a bit. They will then add at least one more when we wake up for last 10 mins. They Roy will give his usual post match nonsense and nothing will change.

They kicked us off the park at Selhurst last season and Baldock was the main culprit it took a few fouls before he was booked and then another few fouls but still no second yellow. I hope that we have a neutral ref and with Zaha AND Eze we should have enough to beat them. 2-0 to us. I agree - they were not a threat against Burnley and i think we have enough to open them up and get a couple. If we can score early we could win by a few as Burnley had some counter attacking opportunities but Wood is no Zaha. We will be more rested and i hope the game goes ahead.

But if we happen to win and move onto twenty one points it will leave us very mid table, considering our squad and their inability to be able to pass to each other I cannot see what needs to be changed, the change will happen hopefully when the new manager appears and he is awarded decent funds to strengthen, meanwhile Roy is doing a brilliant job in my opinion.

Tis another must win for us, my biggest worry is to do that we have to score and that is difficult for us and then keep a clean sheet again difficult for us. The draw against Leicester was poor at home especially taking into consideration the key players they rested, so don't be fooled by thinking that was a good result!

That is good doombear, I feel that is good going in the circumstances that everyone finds themselves in at the moment and I do feel confident about our future.

I’m getting flashbacks of when Villa won only about 3 games the season they were relegated and looked awful, one of the worst ever PL seasons. Pretty sure one of those we lost 1-0 to them after Hennessey dropped the ball into the net. It would be very palacey to gift them their first win of the season.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
