It's not a big ask really.

Sure, they removed a tyrant in Colonel Ghadaffi and in his place split the country up into warring fractions who only recently declared a ceasefire. ..How long will that last....open slavery now exists there. The western leaders create a mess and then just walk away...taking no responsibility for all their fine words turning into disaster on the ground......Europe then gets flooded.....and a couple of years later Syria and another flood......more fine words and bad endings. There’s an easy solution to all this. Provide anyone who arrives at our shores with a council house in New Addington. They’d soon fook off back to where they came from.

Nobody wants to see the body of a young child floating in the sea after a failed attempt at a crossing. However, the father of this child would be classified as an economic migrant, not a refugee. He had left Syria and been in Turkey for about 3 years and had some form of employment. He had failed in his attempt to emigrate to Canada, where he had relations. His attempt to cross the sea to the EU (Greece) was therefore his perceived route to a better life and perhaps an onward journey to Canada. In addition, I believe he returned to Syria to bury his son within the week, implying that his homeland wasn't as dangerous as it had been. I am sure this is not an isolated incident, in fact I'm pretty sure that the UN once calculated that 75% of those attempting to get to the West were economic migrants. How do we stop those and allow true refugees a safe route?
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

The Spanish are treating a Moroccan terrorist in hospital much to their displeasure. The Moroccans have deliberately withdrawn / scaled down their border force as a retaliation of course this means that the migrants are now risking their lives climbing over fences or even drowning. It just shows how Europe relies on their neighbours and how the neighbours have now realised they have a powerful weapon e.g. Turkey. Edited by Badger11 (22 May 2021 10.03am)

Whilst, at the same time, saying their country is too dangerous. I wouldn't say all are like this - some are genuine. But 80% are here for the life, not for the reasons they state. I ask them, and many simply admit it.

And every time a Government tries to control the situation, the woke mob get their protests and demonstrations going and it's the Government that are portrayed as the evil ones. Meanwhile another boatload turns up somewhere on the South Coast. Ironically, I had a friend who worked in the Home Office at Lunar(tic) House. He had great trouble when going on holiday to the US...his job took him to Islamabad many times and the stamps in his passport resulted in long delays at US border gates. Perhaps he should have eaten his passport on route.
