Personally I can't wait for the fans to come back. Had they been at the home matches against Brighton and Newcastle I have no doubt Mr Hodgson would have been left in no doubt what they thought of our performances. Even 2000 would raise enough derisory whistles to alert Mr Parish about the abysmal and negative 'football' we are playing. As others have said, nobody minds losing providing we have made an effort but most of us certainly do and, justifiably, complain when the team appear apathetic and the manager apparently unconcerned. He is just not capable of applying tactics to suit the abilities of the squad. At present the extra 27 points we need seem dubious, especially as three of the 'doomed' four are now showing worrying signs of life.
