I'd love to know how far away Clyney is from first team action. Ward has been excellent for us but having a fully fit Clyne, who is quicker, better passer of the ball and the type of full back who can get up the pitch too would massively help us. That is of course, if he returns anywhere near the player we once had.

I think the lack of attacking flair and pace from our full backs has been one of the major weaknesses recently although Mitchell appears a better defender than Van Aanholt IMO. If Clyne is anywhere near the force of old and Van Aanholt fit I’d like to see both.
