This transfer window finishes 1 month after the season starts, therefore if he wants his move, he's got to perform. As things stand, champions league football in England, the top 4 won't touch him, not good enough. Only chance he will get is abroad. Who's going to pay £35 million for him? Only chance he's got is to perform for Palace for a month, then end of transfer window, when clubs get desperate, they look at Zaha. If Palace would want to sell then so late, without bringing in new players, I doubt it. Zaha will stay at Palace 20/21 season is my 100% prediction. Did you watch the game today? If he can play like that again in the PL then no way are we selling him for less than 50m. On his day he is a top 4 player in my mind, but last season those days were really rare. For whatever reason he looks like he's enjoying himself again.

Not a bad all round performance but another example of how to make chance after chance and miss all bar one.

If he's still here and takes that attitude beyond the transfer deadline in October then it should be win-win for both parties... Should've been the case last season if he'd got over the summer disappointment quicker.
George Courtney, the World Cup referee, everyone is looking at him. When will he blow....? |

Still need a striker. If Roy starts bleating part way in then no one is going to listen. It has been a glaring problem for months and months now.

Roy seems to want to play 442 with wilf and ayew up front. If we got a new striker where would he go. Wilf seems to be enjoying playing centre, which would mean moving our player if the year out of position. Assuming wilf stays.

Wilf and Bats up top with Schlupp and Ayew wide support? Wilf is a better finisher than Ayew and came alive when Bats was here last. Both Ayew and Schlupp are very Roy players and are the hard workers needed for the 4-4-2 to work Originally posted by spartakev2

If Wilf stays and plays like that all season and with Eze on the left then all we need is a striker and we will suddenly look a real threat. Our defensive injuries are showing, which is not surprising given we have our fourth choice centre-back, a midfielder and an U23 left-back. For me Wilf was the clear MOTM. He was unplayable at times, drifting past players like they weren't there (bodes well if he stays). Riedewald played well and Tyrick seemed to grow into the game. Meyer once again did some neat stuff but still doesn't look like he can impose himself on a game (nice blind pass to put Schlupp in though). It's always hard to tell how this will translate into a PL game, but we are certainly creating more chances playing 4-4-2. Unless we sign someone or Eze's injury is only minor then I imagine we will start as we did today as we only had Luka, Kelly and Meyer as the other fit seniors. P.s. Please Palace buy a bloody striker! We seem to have seen the same game. It wasn't the same old, same old as some have suggested. We created half a dozen gilt-edged chances that a half decent CF would have scored at least a hat-trick from. I do believe the club are trying to buy a striker but with the budget we're likely to have available (having already spent about 3-4 time as much as we did in the previous 4 windows), it's not going to be easy. I sense we won't be going above £15-20m. there's still the loan option. A couple of days ago, we were odds-on to loan Brewster from Liverpool (Why are/were we odds-on as I haven't seen any rumour to suggest we are in pole position)? It could be a long 6 days till we hear what RH has to say about injuries and before we see whether any new players will be here for next Saturday.
