I have added all of us who want to go together to my list of friends/family - but how do I do the next bit where they are asking you to purchase all Season Tickets in the same transaction ? , I can only seem to buy my own ?

You have my utmost sympathy. I must have spent two hours yesterday afternoon trying to do exactly what you've tried to do, and finally gave up. Phoning was a waste of time. So I went to the Box Office in person this morning and after queuing for 30 minutes finally renewed my tickets.

Same problem yesterday when I tried. Went back today and it was the top answer in the question section. It was a bit of bu@@ering about but follow the instructions and you can get it sorted pretty quickly.

Thanks , that's really helpful now I've seen the FAQ section it seems easy enough.

I scrolled down but couldn't see the answer to how do we get rid of Bentenke and sign a decent striker, that would appear more tricky !

Five games in the season if your lucky, what atmosphere? And a week to decide! All in all much as I love palace is it worth all the hassle!!

It's a farce, with complete disregard for the fans.
I've hardly missed a home game since 1968 but I won't be renewing my season ticket, I'll wait for 21-22 season and try and get my usual seat back, assuming I haven't gotten out of the habit by then.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Bought mine yesterday and tbh the interest on a half to three quarters of £510 is not much but significant still

As someone else said it will be like the 80s again (hopefully without Shrewsbury).
Most of the EFL teams will be in the same boat and the covid pubs will continue to give most of the money over to the teams.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

That's a good point actually. They want to take all of the money upfront in one lump which does equate to an interest free loan as you say, but on the other hand if you want to pay in installments they'll charge 6.25%.

They've got no shame.

Talking to a Fulham mate of mine. They are not selling season tickets for 20-21 but only issuing match tickets to 19-20 season ticket holders via a ballot.
However your seat is still valid for next season.
No money is required to reserve/hold your seat, only pay for any tickets allocated to you via the ballot.
That seems to me to be the fairest and most sensible way forward.

Why are Palace insisting on having supporters money in full for a product they cannot totally supply, also insist on the checking of shielding etc? That can change anyway.
What have they done bought another port-a-cabin?
Keep it simple Palace stick to Football!

Just a couple of points to add here -
a) I do hope someone from the media publishes a comparison of how each club in turn is handling this season ticket renewal / saving seat for more normal times situation -
b) Given that these are far from normal times, people are talking about premier league tv deals being cancelled (China)
c) lower gate receipts have happened & are clearly going to continue to happen, at least for the foreseeable future - we are seeing quite large numbers of unemployment (particularly in hospitality & travel industry) quite honestly none of us really know whats going to happen next -
There will likely be clubs going into administration over this coming period ( obviously the longer it lasts the greater the risk) if any club suddenly finds itself unable to fund itself where does that leave season ticket holders who have paid the full amount ? normally I wouldnt be so concerned but when you consider these are far from normal times I do think its a sensible consideration to have.

Personally I would prefer to see the club making contingency plans & selling what tickets are available to last seasons ticket holders on a month by month basis / assessment of the actual situation on the ground - ( maybe each supporter holding say £150 credit account with the club for ticket allocation rather than the full amount of the season ticket OK that dosent give the club the cash flow it would hope for but it does help prevent individuals finding themselves considerably out of pocket.

Very sensible from Fulham, they value their supporters.
Also their new stand will be finished soon, we haven't even started ours.

The £200 fee feels like a PSL (Personal Seat Licence) initiative.

Owners of football clubs here would love to expand this US-style price-gouging practice in the style of the Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders etc...

Essentially the customer pays for the right to pay.

This could be the thin end of a looming wedge.
