Best news of a crappy season. Watford have been thugs and nothing else. Good riddance. It’s good news for our physio team.

And Luka has the most yellows in the division. James McCarthy is also no stranger to yellows this season, collecting 9 of them.

I am very comfortable with mediocre. It is something I do to perfection |

As a Yank, I've really only been following the Premier League for about five years, and my wife (sadly a Spurs fan) for less. But we both consider Watford a brutal, boorish club for their deliberately dirty play.

VAR was the difference Watford couldn't continue with their tactics of kicking teams off the park.

I guess that explains the general lack of commitment and effort all season! VAR wasn't that kind to us its true to say but for different reasons. Anyway thanks for the kind messages. Will pop in and out.

Going into the last game of the season, without VAR Watford would have been on exactly the same number of points and in the same position, 18th on 34 points.

With VAR the worse thing was we saw 3 handball goals against us not ruled out ( 2 later admitted ) whereas for example your goal at Villa was ruled out when it hit his shoulder m. I think that is the general frustration with it - lack of consistency. Anyway might have not changed much and we can only blame the owners have tbf.
