Best news of a crappy season. Watford have been thugs and nothing else. Good riddance.

It’s good news for our physio team.

Both Arsenal and Tottenham picked up more Yellows and Reds than Watford the season just ended.

And Luka has the most yellows in the division.

James McCarthy is also no stranger to yellows this season, collecting 9 of them.

Didn’t see Watford , as a particularly dirty side , committed yes, and
definitely worked on Wilf. In recent times having shared two play off ,s there has been a bit more edge. Must have played them in every division. Cliff Holton, used to give us trouble in the old 3rd div. didn’t hold it against him though.

Committed yes. To cheating mostly. Yes.The season before we beat them in the playoffs, as I remember it, the loaned 7/8 players from the Pozzo stable of clubs in Italy and Spain, that led to a change in the rules. Always looking to bending the rules such as the use of "rotational Fouling"

I am very comfortable with mediocre. It is something I do to perfection

I was referring to the playing side . No end of clubs have dodgy owners now.
Rotational fouling is standard ,how is it so many sides can collect yellows for fun with hardly anyone off? I don’t think Troy ,thought they invented it.

As a Yank, I've really only been following the Premier League for about five years, and my wife (sadly a Spurs fan) for less. But we both consider Watford a brutal, boorish club for their deliberately dirty play.

VAR was the difference Watford couldn't continue with their tactics of kicking teams off the park.

I guess that explains the general lack of commitment and effort all season!

VAR wasn't that kind to us its true to say but for different reasons.

Anyway thanks for the kind messages.

Will pop in and out.

Going into the last game of the season, without VAR Watford would have been on exactly the same number of points and in the same position, 18th on 34 points.

With VAR the worse thing was we saw 3 handball goals against us not ruled out ( 2 later admitted ) whereas for example your goal at Villa was ruled out when it hit his shoulder m.

I think that is the general frustration with it - lack of consistency.

Anyway might have not changed much and we can only blame the owners have tbf.
