Roy indicated that Schlupp is unlikely to start so it'll be between Riedewald and Mitchell for the LB slot. I hope Roy sticks with the 442 formation utilised against Man Utd as Ward and Mitchell/Jairo will need support and Ayew and Wilf have the legs to drop back and help out.

I think it'll be:

VG

Ward Dann Sakho Mitchell

Townsend McCarthy Kouyate McArthur

Ayew Wilf

I think we can get something out of this providing we have some energy left, so I'm going for an out-of-the-blue 2-1 to us with Townsend and Wilf the scorers.

Not sure Roy will risk putting Mitchell up against Traore. I hope he does, though.
As for MacArthur, he seems shot to me, so if Mitchell does play might see Riederwald in front of him.

As for the score, I'll go for 1-1 just to stop the rot before we spoil Jose's party and beat Spurs in the league for the first time since Jan 2015 (NINE successive league defeats since BUT two cup wins!

I really hope he does give Mitchell a chance. I'd be happy to see Riedewald on the left as he can pick a pass, but he's not as lively as McArthur, who constantly pops up in and around the opposing box.

Is everyone going to stop wetting their pants now that Mitchell is starting?

“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder
