We win this one . .One freak result doesn't suddenly make them world beaters and our disciplined defending will not be anything like liverpool's horror show last week.

Roy will find a way to grind out another victory ,COYP

Gonna be a tough one but hopefully it'll be a case of 'after the lord mayor's show' for Watford. They were regrettably very good against Liverpool last week but hopefully we can bring them back down to earth with a bump. I expect it'll be an ugly affair (I guess that's always the case when Deeney is playing) with few chances but hopefully we'll take whatever chances come our way and keep Sarr under control.

I'll go 2-1 Palace.

Not a prediction but a recommendation. Tongue in cheek, perhaps...

I'm convinced Wilf's early-game drama annoys the refs so much that he seldom gets the benefit of a close call -- and even some blatant fouls go unpunished.

So don't start Wilf. Let Watford kick the crap out of some other winger, accruing several yellow cards along the back line, and then send in Wilf to attack whichever Watford player is in the most danger of getting a red. And tell Wilf not to complain about any no-calls.

Pressure is all on them. Wilf to play and be MOTM, 3-0 to Palace and a comfortable win.

Agree with CT Charlie. Start three of the last under 23 team with challenge to get five goals - two forwards and their star defender (Sakho). After 30 minutes score is Palace 3 - Watford 5 (yellow cards) and Wilf, Andros, and Max are seen to start warming up.

We don't have any other wingers.

1-1 would be a good result. A little negative but two draws against Watford and bournmouth would be important as stopping them getting 3 points is key, and would take us to 38 points.

I’m going for a 2 nil win for us. They have the least away wins in the league this season (2) They have only scored 2 more than us but conceded 11 more.

That freak Liverpool result doesn’t paper over the cracks. I am confident we will beat them.

I wholeheartedly agree with this analysis.

I fear we will again be outmuscled and our success against teams that do that to us is poor. The best we can expect I think is a draw. I hope I am wrong and our recent two wins will lift us to overcome their strong arm approach.COYP

A job for Mighty Max perhaps , or is this another game that doesn't suit the boy ?

I think one a hard fought one all , and at least two of the Watford side dodging second yellows.
