Not sure about our longest undefeated run in the PL, however under Hodgson in his first season we went 8 games unbeaten.In the 9th game we lost 3-2 home to Arsenal.

Just a comment for those rightly identifying our woeful recent record at home to the saints. Both last defeats were very early doors in seasons when we took an age to start. That said, we have tenacity to always chase a hopeless cause rather than the killer instinct to bury a team when on top. Thus... They will score first half against the run of play. We will equalise second half very late with fans' nails chewed to the bone.

I couldn't bear it if we lose to them again at Selhurst Park. Wilf to crucify them with our fans noisy endorsement of his staying to the end of the season comments! Massive win for us - 3-1 with Wilf on the scoresheet!

8 is correct. Not that impressive compared with Arsenal's record of 49 and even outdone by Wimbledon (14) and Charlton (9). Swindon never went more than 2 games without a defeat
