You certainly make a coherent point well backed up with facts there.

Must be something about Cornwall - seems to be a place for the dogmatic to reside.

That said i admire your defence of Hennessey, even if it is about as solid as his defence of our goal and your standing resolute in front of the crowd.

Still does bring to mind the old saying - “If you can keep your head when all around you are losing their’s, then you probably haven’t understood the situation.

Impressed with Wickham. Winning a lot of balls, working hard and switching play nicely.

What`s really interesting, in my view, about beeing in the cup, is the chance to dominate a game.

That may need an opposing team from National League North/South or lower, but could happen...

This is a preview of what we'll look like when Zaha is gone. It's our entire starting lineup of midfielders and forwards, and unable to threaten a championship team.

Our overall slowness and inability to pass the ball is just sad.

Derby worked us out after the first 15 and look the much better side. As usual we struggle to pass to each other and to do it at a speed to be dangerous :-( Lets hope for a better second half and that we actually go at them. Perhaps Ayew shouldn’t have started as he looks well out of it?

I would say both fullbacks and Hennessey should have done better for their goal. Rooney is just popping up everywhere and hitting some great passes.

Nothing seemed to be going right for Meyer and then he got injured. McCarthy looking tigerish again. Pierrick has looked good on the ball but off the ball he looks a bit lost - very promising though. Wickham and Ayew both working very hard but we need to put more pressure on them; hopefully we'll move the ball quicker in the second half.

Too many occasions we're over hitting the ball whether it's with purely running with it or passing, most of them are not concentrating today at all.

This has nothing whatsoever to do with the management or coaching, purely the players not behaving themselves (before anyone suggests it's Hodgsons fault)

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

Nothing to do with Cornwall. Lived in Selhurst Rd.

Just watched the goal again, what about the defenders who a. allowed the guy to get a cross in and b. the defender who should have been first to the ball before the Derby player. No even Guaita would have saved that. If you had ever played in goal you would know it doesn't need to be a thunderbolt for goals to be scored.

I just knew that if Derby scored some idiot would be blaming Hennessey.

That's been the only real problem, all way too lethargic, (the Spurs syndrome)
