Read the article about Derry trying to persuade AWB to sign on loan whilst at Lincoln. Quite funny as he claimed it help his career.

Apparently AWB took one look at Lincoln and legged it back to Palace and got his head down. Maybe a few of the others could do with some of that treatment "welcome to the real world boys this is what it's like if you don't succeed."

To be fair Lincoln is a beautiful place and wouldn't be a bad loan move for a lot of young players. Clearly, AWB was a class above that though.

Another interesting article which mentions [Derry as part of] the team we are building as investment into our youth program.

Dean Wilkins, ex-Southampton youth academy, is one such addition and although some on this thread are complaining about the questionable nepotism within the club, they may not know about the overall picture of sensible recruitment.

(I don't know how long Wilkins has been with us?)

 


So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.
