Not as bad as the Gadaffi link from yesteryear but a corrupt (and convicted) politician all the same. If he becomes our owner and gets extradited to face his prison sentence, we could be left with serious problems.

What, you mean actually win something? I'm all for super rich owners myself. Maybe no this one though. Ditto. Who doesn't like the idea of winning trophies? If some Russian gangster/ Arab slave labourer/ shady Thai geezer wants to spunk their ill gotten gains on us then so be it. I'm not above buying success.

Edited by jiepandy (13 May 2019 3.58pm) Can't(obviously) understand a word of the video, but it's interesting how the club is portrayed by either an old photo of the original Palace in all it's long-gone crystal glory, or by the CGI of the new main stand that hasn't been built yet. False and falser images ...... a good start that!

Makes me feel a bit uneasy this. Would hate us to become the next Chelsea. I'm perfectly content being the plucky underdog with local fans. Doesn't look like there is any legs in the story anyway. Same here. I'd like a bit of investment to strengthen the squad but would hate us to be like Man City, Chelsea etc

Even if this is true and it may not be...I can't believe some people wouldn't want this to happen. Why wouldn't we want to be competing against the likes of Man City, Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea on a more even keel? I'd love Selhurst to be sorted out and have better training facilities, and to be able to kick the arses of certain teams most the time...but alas I don't really think this is kosher.

Nah, not for me. I like seeing us win big games, and I'd love to win a cup and play in Europe, but it's not the be all and end all. Besides, plenty of clubs have thought they were getting that miracle investment and it has gone massively tits up.
