After the Mandada experience do we need a keeper whose focus is somewhere else ie in this case Spain.?

We have an agreement in place. Hopefully that is watertight. I trust Parish on contracts. He doesn't give many of them. Or always to the right people. But once he signs off he has got you tied down. I reckon all these stories are because the other clubs have realised they need another option for keeper next season and obviously this guy would fit the bill as he is decent and out of contract. Now if he wants to go there instead then fine. We don't want disgruntled players turning up smelling the place out. But if Parish has done his job correctly then the other clubs will have to pay out compensation and I'm sure he will get his dues.

Listening to the fyp podcast the other day they had Dom fifield on and asked if there’s any truth in the athletico Madrid story and he mentioned the Bosman ruling and also remarked on why he would turn down a lucrative deal with palace to be oblak’s understudy

Whether he comes here or not I think we need to sign another keeper and I'd go for Ben Foster. WBA aren't staying up so he could be available.

Not really a lot. His one major glaring mistake was to slip on wet grass when he went to boot the ball long and conceded a goal. Hardly grounds for a sacking. But that is how Pardew saw fit to punish him. He’s a decent keeper with bloody good reflexes. Edited by Brentmiester_General (08 May 2018 9.33pm)
