I remember Slowdive. I didn't have any of there stuff but I'm fairly certain I saw them live once (possibly supporting the house of love??) Slowdive reformed and released a brilliant album this year. Well worth a listen if you were unaware.

One of the most perfect albums ever. The rest of their catalogue after Dogmanstar I think is ok, and about half of Dogmanstar is on a par with Suede; but that first album, is a perfect 10.

The Nymphs apparently have reformed - By all accounts their live shows were magnificent (I think the lead singer blew her boyfriend on stage at least once). But beyond that, its a fantastic album, and Imitating Angels is a gem. I'm a big Luke Haines fan - The Auteurs, Black Box Recorder, Baader-Meinhoff and solo - the man for me is a fantastic songwriter and musician, who is under appreciated.
